DMCA Takedown Policy

Protecting Your Copyrights

Introduction

At Newslite15, we respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your copyrighted material has been uploaded or posted without authorization, you may file a DMCA Takedown Notice to have it removed from our platform.

What is DMCA?

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a U.S. copyright law that helps copyright owners protect their digital content online. It provides a process for removing infringing content from websites and platforms.

How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are the copyright holder and believe that your content has been posted on our website without your consent, you can file a DMCA Takedown Notice. Please include the following information in your notice:

  • Your contact information: Name, address, phone number, and email address.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work: Provide a description of the copyrighted material you believe has been infringed.
  • Location of the infringing content: The URL or other location of the material that you claim is infringing.
  • Statement of good faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the material is infringing and that the information in the notice is accurate.
  • Signature: Your physical or electronic signature.

You can send your DMCA Takedown Notice to us at newslite15@gmail.com.

Our Response to a DMCA Takedown Notice

Once we receive a valid DMCA Takedown Notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the infringing content. We will also notify the user who uploaded the content, and they will have the option to file a counter-notice if they believe the removal was a mistake.

Counter-Notice

If you believe that your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can file a Counter-Notice. The Counter-Notice must include the following information:

  • Your contact information.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  • The URL or location of the content that was removed.
  • Your signature.

Upon receipt of a valid Counter-Notice, we may restore the content unless the original copyright owner files a lawsuit within 10-14 days.

Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for the content posted by users and can only act on DMCA Takedown Notices as per the law. We will not be held liable for any infringement unless explicitly stated by the law.
